We are planning to tie a couple of quilts for the Humanitarian Center during the activities times. Please contact Laurie Romriell if you are interested in helping or have a quilt to tie. She can be reached at (435) 258-5682.

The service project for this year is to purchase headstones for the graves of Francois and Mary Billot Romeril. The existing ones are not in good condition, so we of the chairpersons have chosen to put new ones in place. Your contributions to this project can be made in care of Randy Romrell, at 2523 Arnett Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84109 or r.romrell@comcast.net. For more detail see Contributions

In the past, we have purchased a marker stone for the Romrell Park and dedicated it at the 1999 reunion. At the reunion of 2004, we put 2 covered picnic tables at the Romrell park. Your contributions to this year’s project will greatly appreciated.

There will be a talent show Friday night after the evening meal. If you are interested in participating, please contact Sean Steiner at (801) 476-8290. We enjoyed the ones in the past. Also, if you have any artifacts that are part of the Romeril family history, bring them along to display. Contact Laurie Romriell about these items.

There is a family web site, thanks to Byron Mills, who has kept us up to date on family doings. The site can be accessed at
www.romrell.net Byron can be reached at bgmills@peoplepc.com

Visit the website to view the 2007 reunion committee, newest family members registered there, and other interesting doings. If you will review the 2004 reunion letter, it lists accommodations in the Ogden area, if you are coming from out of town.

If you have an address change, email change of address, or phone number change, please contact Gaye Griffith at (208) 852-1240, or gigi24722@plmw.com. Please let anyone in the family who may not get this letter know about the reunion, so they can attend, too.

If any of you would like to volunteer to help with the reunion in any way, please contact either Jarette Lykins, blykins@comcast.net, (812)579-5541; or Isabell Stringham, isabels@xmission.com, (801) 292-0103; or Laurie Romriell, laurier@cv-w.com.

The reunion funds are in two categories: 1-the general fund, which pays for the expenses of the reunion, 2-the project fund, which pays for the special project for each reunion. If you would like to donate to either or both of these funds, please contact Randy Romrell. Thank you for your support.

We would like to know how many of you will be coming, so we can have a count for the meals and the table set-up. Please send your name and number of people in your family, as well as your address, phone, and email to me, Jarette Lykins, 13140 S. 325 E., Elizabethtown, IN 47232, or email me at blykins@comcast.net.

Keep working on your Romeril family histories so we can share the information at the reunion. I look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely, Jarette Lykins, 2007 Reunion Chairman.
